The Actors Guild of Nigeria, led by Dr. Emeka Rollas (MON), has partnered with the “I Am the Future of Nigeria” Youth Initiative to champion inclusion and representation in the nation’s film industry.
The collaboration highlights Tobechi Achionye, fondly known as Kind Toby, a gifted young artist and pianist living with autism, as a symbol of talent beyond limitations.
The initiative aims to create awareness and open opportunities for neurodiverse and differently-abled individuals in Nollywood, reaffirming that every story deserves to be told.
Rollas, described inclusion as essential to expanding Nollywood’s creative richness and giving voice to the unseen.
He emphasised that Mrs. Noni Okocha, representing Kind Toby, said his journey proves that creativity knows no bounds and that differently-abled youths must be seen and celebrated.
He said both organisations are united in their mission to make inclusion the new norm in Nollywood, using art to inspire empathy, access, and empowerment for all.
