The first batch of pilgrims from Kaduna State landed safely in the Holy Land in the evening, hours after departing Nigeria.

According to the Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency, the group left Kaduna at 1:45 p.m. Nigerian time and touched down at 7:58 p.m. Nigerian time, which is 9:58 p.m. in the Holy Land.

Ibrahim Datti, Public Relations Officer of the agency, confirmed that all pilgrims arrived in good health “by the grace of Allah.”

This marks the start of the airlift for Kaduna pilgrims for this year’s Hajj. More batches are expected to follow in the coming days.
